The Sausage and Mash day raised £325. Thank you to Maggie and Mick who arranged it for us! We were encouraged by the fact that Aldi and Waitrose donated a lot of the food for free. All that was required was to ask! Is there further untapped generosity in our local business community? If you are thinking of arranging an event, is there a local business that you could approach for support, or even a cash donation?
We also had donations this year from the Easter Egg Hunt, the BB Games evening, and sales of various goods such as books, food and crafts. Many thanks to all those involved.
