Ukraine has a long history of Baptist life and witness. Since the year 2000, 800 churches have been planted.
The Slavic Gospel Mission is sponsoring a visit to the UK of Igor Bandura, Vice President of the Ukrainian Baptist Union (also Pastor of the church in Odessa). He is speaking at Oldbury Congregational Church on Saturday 3rd March at 4pm and 6pm (tea available at 5pm); and at the Dudley Baptist Church (Priory Rd) on Thursday 8th March at 7.45pm.
